From Handmade Spoon Jewellery To Psychedelic UV Art, Discover How It All Started.
Spoonvoodoo started in 2018 when Jamie began experimenting with polymer clay. Today, every mini spoon necklace and UV-reactive accessory is handmade in small batches in the UK. You’ll find unique, durable pieces made to be gifted, collected, and worn as art.
What started as a hobby soon grew into something more, but the first designs took shape as handmade spoon jewelry with bright geometric patterns and organic designs. Each piece unique, handcrafted, and in most cases, made to stand out under UV light.
Influenced by Spoon Theory
We began creating our products with Spoon Theory in mind. it’s a metaphor that explains energy and how we use it. Each day you start with a limited number of spoons. Expending physical or mental energy costs spoons, and when you’re out of spoons, you’re showing that you’re out of energy.
That concept inspired me to create spoons as wearable reminders; Tokens of energy. Wearing a mini spoon pendant is symbolic and a way to carry art and meaning together.
Beyond our beginnings
Over time, Spoonvoodoo grew into more than just jewelry, the collection now includes a full range of handmade psychedelic accessories:
